Meet Maria Bardos as she discusses "Montgomery County Tourism" 4/8

Maria has over 20 years of hospitality sales, marketing and leadership experience. Wharton Club members and guests are invited!

Maria has over 20 years of hospitality sales, marketing and leadership experience. She  began her career at College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. Maria advanced  through leadership roles of increasing responsibility at Hilton and Hyatt branded hotels, including roles as Director of Sales and Marketing, Global Director, and Regional Director of Sales. In 2021, she was pre-opening and opening Director of Sales of the AC Hotel in Bethesda. She has earned a variety of accolades along the way such as Outstanding Production Achievement and Sales Team of the Year awards, and most recently OTO Development's 2022 Hotel Opening of the Year award.

As a native of Montgomery County, Maria is passionate about her community and all that it has to offer to visitors and residents. Maria has served as PTA president at her children's elementary school, and volunteered with the Fair Access Committee for the Town of Poolesville. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, playing golf and cooking
