Ianessa Humbert, Ph.D. is an accomplished scientist, former professor, and highly sought-after speaker with expertise in swallowing disorders. Her clinical background is in speech language pathology. Dr. Humbert is the CEO of Swallowing Wellness in Bethesda MD, the first outpatient clinic servicing individuals with swallowing disorders. 

She is also the CEO of the Swallowing Training and Education Portal (STEP), an all-in-one online training program for speech language pathologist. STEP has grown to over 35,000 enrollments since its launch in 2018.
