Connie Paradise is a photographer, content creator, and author. She retired from a thirty-year career in association management in Washington, DC, and pursued her love for  creativity through photography. Her photographic journey began in 2015 when she focused on professional women showing their grace, beauty, and strength through her lens so they could see the beauty in their curves, flaws, and uniqueness.

Connie’s passion is creating an environment with a purpose that inspires and empowers her to live to the absolute fullest! Her book, “Guide for Simple Luxury” offers practical tips and ideas to make your home and lifestyle more organized, refined, and enjoyable without breaking the bank. She emphasizes the importance of self-care and how it can transform our lives and encourages us to take time to cherish and engage in the experiences that life has to offer. By understanding the secrets of gratitude and abundance, we can incorporate the practice of simple luxury into our daily lives. Her blog, “A Peek at Paradise,” for women 50-ish and over, delves deeper into this concept with regular updates and posts. 

Connie’s dedication to her home and family reflects her commitment and personal values. She is passionate about design and organization and is often found rearranging her living room in the wee hours of the morning. She and her husband, Ollin, moved to Winchester, VA, from Northern Virginia the day before their 2017 wedding and have been renovating their home project by project ever since. Their grown sons, Stefan and Jared, have their own children. Their two cats, Leonard and Loretta, keep them entertained. Connie’s commitment to creating an inspiring and empowering environment is evident in every aspect of her life.
