U.S.-listed ETFs have attracted $610 billion of net inflows this year through Aug. 28, according to the State Street Global Advisors. 2024 inflows are on track to exceed all annual inflow records at an estimated $950 billion thanks to the increasing number of options available to investors within the ETF wrapper.
Can this remarkable growth be sustained over the near future? And what opportunities and challenges would further expansion open up? To guide us through the ever-evolving ETF landscape and the pivotal trends investors should watch in 2H2024 and beyond, we are fortunate to have a truly star-studded panel:
• Eric Balchunas is senior ETF analyst for Bloomberg Intelligence where he writes research for the Bloomberg Terminal and Bloomberg.com.
