Meet Virginia Schad, Trauma Program Director: "Stop the Bleed" 8/13

An award-winning registered nurse with extensive experience as a charge nurse and team lead in the emergency department.  Wharton Club members and guests are invited!

Virginia Schad is the Trauma Program Director at Suburban Hospital. An award-winning registered nurse with extensive experience as a charge nurse and team lead in the emergency department of a level two trauma center, Virginia has been at Suburban for over 20 years. The Inaugural recipient of the Jackie Schultz Excellence in Nursing Award in 2021 and recognized as Emergency Room Nurse of the Year in 2009 and 2014.

Virginia graduated from Georgetown University, earning a BS in Nursing and Graduate Level Courses at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.
