Meet Jamie Watts, a Marine Ecologist and Expedition Leader 7/2

Jamie is a marine ecologist and expedition leader, who spends as much time as possible in Earth’s most spectacular marine ecosystems. Wharton Club members and guests are invited!

Jamie is a marine ecologist and expedition leader, who spends as much time as possible in Earth’s most spectacular marine ecosystems. After two years overwintering with British Antarctic Survey on South Georgia from 2004, Jamie has been full time on expedition ships across the globe, logging 249 expedition voyages, half of them to Antarctica. Jamie presents on marine and polar wildlife, global-scale ecology, and human ecological footprints, and has written for magazines and websites around the world. Jamie has dived and free-dived from under the ice at the North Pole to the Antarctic. He is father to twenty-one-year-old Alex.
