Meet Joe Lott: "Introduction to Japanese Woodblock Prints (or JWB prints 101)" 3/19
Joe Lott has embarked on his 4th career as an art dealer, primarily of Japanese woodblock prints. Wharton Club members and guests are invited!
Joe Lott has embarked on his 4th career as an art dealer, primarily of Japanese woodblock prints. As a collector for over 40 years, he has more than 6,000 prints in his collection. He has now turned his passion for art into a business by launching a web store. With previous careers as a Marine officer, IT executive, and real estate developer, he has a unique way of looking at his art business. He enjoys not only it's beauty, but the history, culture, and technology it conveys. He says he never felt like an owner of the prints, but rather a custodian who has a duty to see that each one finds a new home. His web store is art-eclectic.com. He also has a series of art talks on Japanese woodblock prints that he provides as a public service. Joe is a Rotarian having been twice been president of the Arlington Rotary and twice president of the Inter-service Club Council of Arlington.
