Kathleen, a native of Montgomery County, Maryland graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science, Dually Certified in Education and Special Education.
During her 10 years in teaching for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), Kathleen found her passion and love of student advocacy from supporting students with a variety of diverse academic and social/emotional needs. Kathleen then took a hiatus from teaching to pursue her most demanding and challenging endeavor of being a stay-at-home-parent to two young children.
After 7 years, Kathleen rejoined the workforce at Oasis, a non-profit affiliated with Suburban Hospital/Johns Hopkins Medicine where she has been the Tutor Coordinator for 1 year. Oasis allows her to continue her passion of community advocacy and support, now for the aging population.
