This week FORTUNE published quite the description of the new JPMorgan Chase headquarters at 270 Park Avenue, saying that the first 2,000 employees are expected to start moving in at the end of August 2025, with the remainder joining them by the end of the year. While the article is behind a firewall (or readable via Apple News), there is a related video available to all on YouTube.
According to the article, JPMC hopes that the many extras in the building – 19 restaurants! lighting systems that complement circadian rhythms! larger windows! – will help "lure back reluctant employees" who are upset by the Bank's recent mandate requiring all staff to return to the office five days a week.
Meanwhile, The New Yorker just published a profile on Norman Foster, the architect for the new JPMC headquarters.
The CAA is hoping to have a reception for alumni in the new space this fall or next spring. We'll keep you posted.

From Monica Altmann: For years, I heard about the Long Island Rail Road connection into Grand Central and joked that I would not live to see it, or I’d be retired instead. So of course this past December I took the train into Grand Central and walked up the exit and right into the corner of 270 Park Ave. That would’ve been so wonderful when I was working all these years. I could’ve saved money on the subway fare and had an easy commute!
Now I am looking at what they’ve built here, and I am so impressed. I would love to see it in person one day.
