From Ken Jablon: Jim worked for the bank for a long time, and I knew him for about half that time. We worked together many times in his capacity as an executive in branch administration and sales. Jim was a pleasure to work with. He was pleasant, smart and reasonable, and he knew what he was doing. He had just the right humor to take the edge off the regular nonsense that went on at the bank. My sincere condolences to his family and many friends.

From Larry Stirling: Jim and I worked together on many, many matters - he from the Branch Operations side and I from the Operations & Systems discipline. We had a number of spirited discussions and solved a litany of problems plaguing our service to customers.  But the friendship we formed working together lasted well beyond our banking careers, and the laughs we had over the years remain with me. In later years, following our Chase years, we worked together with Jim in a consulting role. The model we forged years earlier still worked, and we were successful once again in building better processes and solving problems. He will be missed indeed. One of the good guys. Sad news indeed.
